I had the most bizarre dream that I was a choreographer and that I was hired to choreograph a number for Madonna's upcoming world tour to her song Express Yourself. |

| yet another site |
[Jun. 12th, 2008|12:33 am] |
So I have outgrown my current website. I am evaluating new websites companies, trying to decide which ones I like and which will best suit my needs before I start my large marketing campaign.
This week, I am evaluating a company called Clickbooq.
Here is a rough idea of what the site would look like. Please tell me what you think.

I think I'm the only one in the world who prefers heat like this to the freezing cold. I really wanted to stay in the Hamptons this morning and go to the beach, but my hard sense of work prevailed and now i'm back here. |

| My Website |
[Jun. 2nd, 2008|11:49 pm] |
Ok - here is my old site
It's a perfectly fine site which I like and it gets me work. However, the portfolios are difficult to see and I think the navigation could be better.
Here is the site I am contemplating using from Site Welder. Yes, it's a template site, however it is fully customizeable. I didn't entirely work out all the kinks yet regarding the links to my archive and the link to the printroom site where you can purchase prints. I just want opinions on which site is better - meaning easier to navigate, shows my work better, all in all looks more professional.
Please leave comments, I am really interested in feedback. |

| updates |
[May. 19th, 2008|11:53 pm] |
I worked all last week at the Peninsula Hotel as an assistant on an interior shoot. They fed us well and I spotted Diane Keaton, who was staying there. She said hello to me. She dresses exactly how she does in the movies.
I shot product today. Yay product, it's so boring to shoot, but hey, it's Flash for Cash.
I had a fun weekend going to Vera's party and then just chilling out.
Australia is still being planned. I'm getting more excited as the weeks pass. I'm not looking forward to 22 hours in a plane, but that is why they invented Tylenol PM. |

| Aussie Hotel Recommendations |
[May. 7th, 2008|12:58 am] |
I need hotel recommendations for Australia - mainly Sydney, Melbourne, Alice Spings/Uluru, darwin and Cairns. If you have stayed in a place that is a) clean b) comfortable c) centrally located and d) midpriced, I would like to hear about it.
Thanks. |

| me & The White House |
[Apr. 25th, 2008|03:33 pm] |
It's been quite a political week for me. Yesterday I went to a local politician's birthday party where Karenna Gore Schiff introduced him. Then today I went to an awards ceremony where Helen Thomas, former White House Bureau Chief, spoke.
How cool is that ? |

| a work free weekend |
[Apr. 21st, 2008|10:10 am] |
I work most weekends, whether it is for a shoot or doing post production. So it is extremely rare that I have a full Saturday and Sunday off as if I had a 9-5 job. Soooo what did I do with my copious 48 hours of free time ?
Friday night, I went to yoga and then went home, climbed into bed and started reading a novel called Pope Joan about the 9th century woman who disguised herself as a man and became the Pope. I got half way finished until I realized it was 3 am and should probably go to sleep. I woke up at 10:30 Saturday, stayed in bed until 12:30 reading, got up, and decided I was going to make lasagna. I continued reading my book & finished it at around 5 pm. I then got ready to go out, where I met up with Vera and my friend Amanda at The Dove in Greenwich Village for drinks. Then we went to Fat Black Pussycat where we played pool until 3:15. I then made it home and was asleep by 4:45 only to wake up at 11 to go to a children's carnival at the Queen's County Farm Museum (hint: don't go on spinning rides on little sleep) and then went to play tennis with Amanda at Astoria Park. I am proud that since I haven't picked up a racket in 20 years, I was still able to serve well and hit the ball in the direction I wanted.
All in all it was a good weekend. |
